What is a birding BIG YEAR? 

Put simply, it is a commitment that a birder makes to see as many species as possible in a 12 month period. Terry Wright, of Essex Junction, Vermont made that commitment and began his "Feather Quest" in January, 2007.  On Saturday, March 29th, The Mad Birders are featuring Terry's talk and slide show at Warren Town Hall. Terry is a relative newcomer to birding and his stories are filled with humor and the delight of the discovery along the way to fulfilling a Vermont birder's dream!

All Are invited: young and old, all birders, casual and "mad"; and those who are curious about birds, their habitats, and the story of one birder who chased birds all over Vermont for a year!
